Kitchen Cupboard Spraying

The first day of the project is all about getting things ready. We begin by removing all doors, drawer fronts, plinths, cornices, and other pieces that will be sent to the spray shop. Next, we tape, mask, and sheet up the cupboards. You don't need to empty them, so don't worry. However, some essential areas such as ovens, fridges, washing machines, and any other appliances that you plan on using will be left uncovered overnight.

On the second day, we begin by wrapping up any remaining items before setting up the extraction units. This is essential to ensure that any excess fumes are efficiently removed from the property. We then spray paint your kitchen cabinets with the primer coats, followed by the top coats. Using water-borne paints means that the drying time is very short, which enables us to apply multiple coats in a single day. Typically, the onsite spraying stage is completed in just one day.

With the spray shop team finishing off with the kitchen door spraying, it's the perfect time for the rest of the team to focus on unmasking the kitchen. This involves removing all protective coverings and tape used to protect surfaces and cleaning up ready for the doors to be re-installed.

On the fourth day, all the panels are refitted, door handles (whether original or new) are installed, and the finishing touches are added. At this point, your revamped kitchen is fully complete!

We advise refraining from cleaning the recently sprayed doors for a minimum of 7 to 10 days until the paint has completely dried. After this period, you may clean the painted surfaces using water and a small amount of washing-up liquid if necessary. It's essential to avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive sponges, as these can cause damage to the paintwork. With a little care and attention, your newly painted doors will look great for years to come!
